  • I am a 69 year old competitive bodybuilder. I started weight training 40 years ago after earning a 1st degree black belt studying Shorin-ryu karate for 10 years. It was then that I suffered a knee injury which forced me to embark on my journey as a bodybuilder. I finally had to have both of my knees replaced about 6 years ago but resumed my training as a bodybuilder right after the operations. I have been competing in local contests here in Louisville, KY for the past 4 years in the Masters Over 60 class. I retired from my full time job as the Director of Facility Operations at a local retirement community after 26 years of service in April of 2013. I have 3 certifications with ISSA, the first obtained almost 4 years ago as a Certified Fitness Trainer, the second one, two years ago as a Nutrition Specialist and the last one just a few months ago as a Certified Specialist in Exercise Therapy. I have been training clients at my gym here in the Louisville area and train clients at one of the local  gyms.

      I've worked out with several trainers over the years and Bob is among the best I've enountered. He is very knowledgable and constantly studies to stay abreast of the latest in fitness and physiology. He has the training and background to advise clients on the optimum diet to achieve their goals. In the year that I have worked with Bob, I have found him to be patient, attentive and encouraging throughout our workouts and can highly recommend him to help others achieve their fitness goals.

      I started going to the gym about a year ago to try to keep up with a new girlfriend. Bob started me off slowly and pushes just enough to keep me moving forward without hurting myself. When I think I just can't do any more, he shows me that I can. I've built muscle and lost fat. The girl is gone, but a better body remains.

      Bob is our trainer and is so knowledgeable that he makes working out easy. He is a great guy. He is very easy to like and works with you at your pace so you totally understand the ex recipes. He is always on time and us flexible with working your available time into his schedule. We highly recommend Bob!!!!

      Have had only two sessions but best decision I ever made. The man knows what he is doing. Like the one on one in his in-home gym. I am not one to work out publicly in a gym. Sessions start and end on time. He is very respectful of my time. So happy I found him.
